This adventure for the scouts for July is being planned over Resurrection Pass, which is a 38 mile lightly traveled pass that is well marked and easy-to-follow. The trail goes through mixed spruce-birch forest near sea level and eventually traverses a 2600 foot pass, but has only a few steep grades and has a generally smooth traveling surface. All of the creeks have bridges over them, so you don’t have to attempt any stream crossings. Scouts going on this adventure will be doing some pre-trips during the Monday troop meeting times, and a probable pre-trip practice ride. This is for an experienced scout with proven bike riding abilities.
